This page explains how VisitMantova handles the personal data collected through this website.

Who we are

The data controller is VisitMantova (@visitmantova_), who can be reached at mantovavisit@gmail.com.

What data we collect

Only what you send us through the “Book” and “Contact” forms: name, email, phone number (optional), country, dates and group size, preferences and any messages you choose to write.

Why we use it

To answer your request and, if you ask for a visit, to prepare a proposal for you. The legal basis is your request itself (Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”). We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising.

Who we share it with

To organise your visit we may share the details of your request with the guides, tour operators, accommodation and businesses involved, for this purpose only. The website forms are handled by Netlify, the service that hosts this website, which stores requests on our behalf; email is managed with Gmail (Google).

How long we keep it

We keep requests for as long as needed to handle them and no longer than 24 months, unless the law requires otherwise.

Statistics and cookies

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate form, without cookies or profiling. We do not use advertising cookies. Fonts are hosted on this website. Your browser only remembers the language you chose.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use or to object to its processing by writing to mantovavisit@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority in your country.
